SURFRUN
2026-11-20 · 15 min · Not rated
Jonny lives in Cornwall, beside 300 miles of coast path he has barely seen. He runs, and he surfs. Neither is about being good at it. Then he loses someone close. What stays with him is not just the grief, it is how suddenly it can all stop. So he sets out to run and surf the entire path, at his own pace, for no reason other than wanting to. The miles are not the hard part. The noise is. The pull to go faster, suffer more, make it look bigger than it is. He spends 300 miles ignoring it, with his partner Katie and their dog Oreo meeting him along the way.
